There are some really strong documentaries nominated in this year’s Academy Awards, and one of them that’s being talked about is All the Beauty and the Bloodshed. Is there anywhere you can watch it online?

The Oscar-nominated film, directed by Laura Poitras, takes us into the art of photographer and activist Nan Goldin. The story of her work is told through her personal slideshows, interviews, photography, and “rare footage,” per the synopsis. Her main area of activism was raising awareness about the Sackler family and holding them accountable for the opioid crisis.

Is All the Beauty and the Bloodshed on HBO Max?

Unfortunately, All the Beauty and the Bloodshed is not streaming on any platform, including HBO Max. At this time, it’s not known where and when the film will be available to watch online. It made its theatrical release in November 2022. As of Jan. 25, 2023, the only way to see the documentary is to head to your local theater.

So, it’s been a while since the production came out, but it is still a bit early. With the doc now having more eyes on it since it’s nominated for an Oscar, we’re going to guess it could possibly come to streaming at some point after the awards show, which will take place March 12, 2023.

The other documentary films that could take home a win from the awards ceremony are All That Breathes, Fire of Love, A House Made of Splinters, and Navalny.
