Bold and the Beautiful is skipping Thanksgiving this year, here's what to expect when the soap returns!
By Sabrina Reed
Well, it's official, The Bold and the Beautiful is skipping the holiday gathering this year on the soap. There won't be a Forrester Thanksgiving though it comes as no surprise since Carter Walton and Hope Logan are in the middle of trying to take the company from the family. It's not exactly a storyline that invites everyone to sit down at Eric Forrester's table to talk about how much they love each other and what they're most thankful for.
New episodes won't air on Thursday, Nov. 28 (Thanksgiving) and Friday, Nov. 29. CBS has scheduled football games during the soap's usual block. First, on Turkey Day, is the clash between the Lions and the Bears. Then, on Black Friday, College Football will reign supreme starting with a game between Minnesota and Wisconsin.
The Bold and the Beautiful will return on Monday, Dec. 2. We'll be dropped back into the midst of Carter and Hope's plot. On Friday, Nov. 27's episode, Ridge gave Carter an ultimatum that could see him keeping his job despite his huge betrayal as long as he dumps Hope. We'll get his answer to that "olive branch" next week and, based on the preview, it doesn't look like it'll be what Ridge hopes.
The soap will also pick back up with Electra Forrester's storyline about the scandal she left behind when she moved to LA with Ivy. She's been so happy that her friend Remy Price is in town but only we know that he's been stalking her. He's currently working at Il Giardino, and we can bet that Will Spencer is going to have something to say about their friendship if he catches any weird vibes from Remy.
Speaking of weirdness, Luna Nozawa returns next week and she's finally going to be getting what she wants. It seems that her letters to Bill Spencer have worked, he's set to pay her a visit. But will it be to tell her in-person not to write him anymore or is he just lonely enough to give into her pleas for him to be in her life? Luna killed two people, and would have killed Steffy Forrester, too, but she and Bill had been close before he found out what she did. Too close since she tried to become the woman in his life once he learned she's not his daughter.
Bill might hear her out. If he does, we're going to need to buckle up because the writers could be putting us on a track that ends with Luna out of jail and wreaking havoc. Stay tuned to Hidden Remote for more The Bold and the Beautiful coverage!
