2 cast members for next summer's Bachelor in Paradise season have been revealed!
By Sabrina Reed
Bachelor in Paradise been on our minds since we first noticed the spin-off was absent from ABC's summer and fall 2024 TV schedule. Thankfully, news did break that the messy reality dating series will be back...it just won't be any time soon. The series has been delayed until next summer but, as the machine behind the Bachelor franchise is wont to do, we're already being enticed to tune in.
On The Men Tell All episode of season 21, host Jesse Palmer extended two invitations to the beachy love fest. The moments happened in between the drama the segment is known for like the reveal of who Jenn sent home just before the finale and our leading lady calling out Sam M. The first offer was given to a fan favorite suitor.
Jonathan will be on Bachelor in Paradise
"Mummy Man" got his heartbroken when Jenn made the difficult choice of ending their romantic journey but he's getting a second chance at love! We heard how disappointed and angry with himself he was at standing in his own way regarding Jenn. He just didn't cross over the love threshold fast enough to have a life with her but he'll have the opportunity to try again at finding "the one" and we'll be a long for the ride.
For Bachelor Nation fans that were upset that Jonathan isn't our new leading man, this certainly soothed some ruffled feathers and will make the spin-off appointment television. He'll be joined by one of his fellow suitors from the season, a man full of personality whose reactions to what's happening around him and to him have left many a viewer laughing so hard it hurts.
Hakeem will also be on BIP
Like Jonathan, Hakeem was a fan favorite. Yes, much of this had to do with his comedic responses but it was also because of his sincerity. Hakeem wears his heart on his sleeve and he's not afraid to speak his mind in a moment that calls for him to weigh in. Those are traits that endeared him to the audience and why he, too, will make the coming season of Bachelor in Paradise worth the watch.
We should have known Hakeem was getting an invitation to the show based on the unexpected moment he had where he was coaxed into allowing a giant spider to rest on his lap. He said he wasn't doing that for nothing since the last time he came eye-to-eye with the eight-legged species, he'd done it for Jenn. She encouraged him to do it for himself but it seems it was a means of teasing that Hakeem would be going to the beach where he may encounter an arachnid or two. Though we hope all he finds is someone to love.
Bachelor in Paradise will premiere on ABC in Summer 2025. Stay tuned to Hidden Remote for more coverage and follow us on X!
