The aftermath of Luna kissing Bill on Friday, Aug. 16's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, wound up being a bit anti-climatic. It went about the way her pregnancy scare did back in May. Though that's not to say that I'm not relieved just the same. See, Bill immediately, firmly, and repeatedly set a boundary with Luna on Monday, Aug. 19.

He has no idea what's going on in her head--neither do we for that matter!--but he has no intention on letting her open a door that shouldn't be there between them. Bill is grieving the loss of their familial connection, as he's told Luna, and once again he confirmed that she will always have a special place in his heart but it won't be as his lover.

Bill made a point of telling Luna that he plans on being therefore her like he has been. The paternity test results haven't changed his resolve to be in her life. He also still wants her to know that she has a home at the Spencer Estate, he won't be sending her on her way now that they know he's not her father. But under no circumstances does that mean she can kiss him again, he was firm on that. He even suggested she speak to a professional about what's been happening in her life.

In the context of the situation, Bill telling Luna that he thinks she needs to see a therapist is somewhat funny. But in all honesty, Luna does need one and that was before she decided to kiss the billionaire. She's going through a lot. Her mother has been accused of murdering her supposed biological father and her friend. She watched her be taken away by the police, and she just found out the man she thought was her dad isn't which implies her mom somehow faked the paternity test.

That's heavy and a lot to deal with so it's unfortunate that Luna has decided to hold off on therapy and process on her own for now, but Bill did say that the option is still there if she wants it. With Dr. Taylor Hayes back in town and preparing to re-open her practice, there's a possibility we could see the two in scenes together if Luna changes her mind about getting help.

I hope she does because one-on-one sessions with Taylor could be the key to learning more about Luna as a person. It's been nearly a year since she made her debut and we still don't know that much about her. Talk therapy could be the way the soap fixes this issue.
