Can you remember the order of The Big Bang Theory Christmas episodes? Put your memory to the test with this quiz!
There's just something so special about holiday-themed episodes when it comes to some of our favorite shows. I think they're just fun, a nice change of pace, and perhaps help us relate to the characters a bit too. You know, they're celebrating Christmas, Halloween, Easter, or whatever other holiday there is just like we do!
Some great episodes from The Big Bang Theory were its Christmas episodes. Can you remember what order they aired in just from the episode title? Put your memory to the test with our The Big Bang Theory Christmas episodes quiz below!
The Big Bang Theory ran for 12 seasons, but that doesn't mean that every season delivered a Christmas episode. Though I would have thought that would be the case! Brooklyn Nine-Nine did a Halloween Heist every season, but like TBBT, Modern Family skipped a few seasons when it came to their Halloween episodes. That makes them all the more special I guess!
So how did you do with the quiz? What's difficult about these episode titles is that they really don't give anything away, so you really have to stop and remember when each of them aired. In case you didn't get them in the right order above, we shared them with you below:
- Season 2, Episode 11 – “The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis”
- Season 3, Episode 11 – “The Maternal Congruence”
- Season 6, Episode 11 – “The Santa Simulation”
- Season 7, Episode 11 – “The Cooper Extraction”
- Season 8, Episode 11 – “The Clean Room Infiltration”
- Season 10, Episode 12 – “The Holiday Summation”
A true fan-favorite, and one of my personal favorites as well, is the first Christmas episode we got on the show. And that's season 2 episode 11, "The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis." After almost a season and a half, we finally see Penny and Sheldon's friendship grow and it hits a very important milestone - Sheldon gives Penny a hug for the first time! Of course we know how much this Cooper despises touching other people. But she got him Leonard Nimoy's autograph and DNA on a napkin when the actor came into The Cheesecake Factory. I definitely think that one deserved a hug too!
Another fun Christmas episode was season 7 episode 11, "The Cooper Extraction." While visiting Texas, the rest of the group reminisces about Sheldon and how he's affected each of their lives. Many times when it comes to how annoying he is, his friends will sometimes wish they never even met him. But then they start to realize the butterfly effect that would have had on where they are today. It was sweet, and an example of us as viewers seeing why the friend group puts up with Sheldon.
Surprisingly even though The Big Bang Theory ran for 12 seasons, the last Christmas episode was in season 10. It would have been nice to get one more holiday-themed episode before we said goodbye to the series. Though the final season was jam-packed with Sheldon and Amy's research and journey to a Noble Prize. Still, it could have been fit in somewhere there. Oh well!
