We are dwindling down to our final episodes of The Traitors season 2. Next week is the finale, along with the reunion. Before we look ahead, we had THREE eliminations in episode 10. Let's break down what happened.
You rarely see a show that continuously raises the bar in a competition style the way The Traitors has this season. We get must-see TV with these outlandish personalities who deliver time and time again at the roundtable. The battle heard around the world, Phaedra vs. Peter finally has a resolution along with a murder and another banishment.
Who was banished from the show?
When we left off, it was a 4-4 vote with MJ being the last remaining person to vote. MJ announced that she doesn't like this part of the game and said there is way more evidence going in Peter's direction. Of course, Peter revealed that he is NOT a traitor.
Who was murdered by the traitors?
Of course, Phaedra and Kate broke down the pressure on Phaedra and had to make the right choice. Personally, I still feel like they should've thrown a curveball since they had the numbers and could have murdered one of the Bravo girls or even MJ, who supported Phaedra. It would've made a great twist and thrown things off of Phaedra. Ultimately, Phaedra and Kate decided to murder John.
How much money was added to the pot?
This was the last time a faithful contestant could get a shield. In this game, they could win up to $30,000, but Alan said this will be the toughest competition yet. There were gold pieces worth $150 in a pile of dirt, and they had to bring it across a bridge of unstable beams and put them on the scale. Any pieces lost along the way were gone and didn't add to the overall total.
Trishelle and CT went back and forth, collecting every ounce of money they could as everyone watched them. MJ had the shield and had to make it across to be able to keep the it and remain safe. With ten seconds to spare, she made it across. The team (CT and Trishelle) was able to bank $28,500, bringing their total to $158,100.
Who was banished from the show?
A powerful and moving roundtable finally saw Sheree, MJ, and Sandra speak up, believing that Phaedra was the traitor. Phaedra didn't fight back, as she says she was exhausted. We went around the table, and everyone voted for Phaedra, with Kate adding a sprinkle of suspicious criticism. They finally got rid of Phaedra, who announced she was a traitor. The group rejoiced, and no we were down to the final six with one traitor left heading into the finale.
The Traitors season 2, episode 10 is available on Peacock.
