Could there be wedding bells on FBI: Most Wanted for the season finale? Shantel VanSanten just dropped a major hint to a big event! Find out more here!

FBI: Most Wanted is no stranger to cast changes as it’s been practically a revolving door since the show began in 2019. The latest began during the extended hiatus between Seasons 4 and 5 as it was announced that Alexa Davalos was leaving as Kristin Gaines. The character was written out as departing for a different FBI branch, with the hint that this came after a bad relationship with team leader Remy Scott (Dylan McDermott).

Rather than introduce a brand new character, the producers instead had Shantel VanSanten join the team as her FBI character, Nina Chase. The character was introduced in FBI Season 4 as a former flame of Scola (John Boyd). When Maggie was badly injured in a sarin gas attack, Nina briefly took her place on the team and restarted her relationship with Scola.

When she discovered she was pregnant, Nina took herself out of field duty and transferred to the White Collar Crimes division. She and Scola kept meeting up in FBI Season 5, building on their relationship. Nina was badly wounded in a special FBI crossover and the FBI Season 5 finale had her going through a difficult pregnancy before giving birth.

A recent episode showed Nina and Scola's home life, handling the ups and downs of parenthood and their difficult jobs. They came together at the end to spark a nice romance, but could it lead to more?

Are Scola and Nina getting married?

So far, Nina and Scola are okay just living together as parents rather than make it official. They’re still handling how what began as a simple one-night stand has grown into a serious relationship with a kid.

However, speaking to TV Line on the FBI: Most Wanted finale (which airs May 21), VanSanten smiled and gave this unique reply!

"Let’s just say it’s going to be a big day…. What else can I hint? We’ll be lucky if it rains, because I hear it’s good luck if it rains on certain big days."

That all but openly acknowledges that Nina and Scola are getting married. Given who we’re talking about, it’s likely not going to be any huge event, just a simple ceremony with friends and family. In fact, they may decide to skip a fancy wedding and just get married in a courthouse.

It’s not for sure but the actress sure seems to be indicating how FBI: Most Wanted is going to end with a big wedding and put Nina and Scola on a great new path together.

FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
