In case you missed it, Supernatural Season 13 will see the return of Apocalypse Bobby.

The Apocalypse World opened up the opportunity for many characters to return. Supernatural Season 12 already showed one important member of the SPNFamily. Apocalypse Bobby appeared with all his sass and sarcasm to share just how the world was different. John Winchester had died and the only hunter called Mary he knew was a Mary Campbell. That meant the Winchesters weren’t around.

Seeing a different version of Bobby excited fans. But he hasn’t been seen since. Well, don’t worry because Apocalypse Bobby is definitely coming back. Jim Beaver isn’t going to let you forget it either.

More from Supernatural

Throughout the winter break, he’s been tweeting about his return to the show, with a reminder that he was travelling to Vancouver, Canada (where Supernatural films) on Jan. 3. It was a big hint that he was going to suit up in his beret and smock.

That’s happened today. Beaver tweeted a photo of Apocalypse Bobby back in action.

The Apocalypse World isn’t going to appear for at least two episodes in Supernatural Season 13, but it will be exciting when we do get back there. Jack has made it to save Mary, putting himself right in the middle of the hornet’s nest. With Apocalypse Michael desperate to play God in the Paradise World, he would be willing to go up against the nephilim to get his grace. After all, an archangel’s grace open the portal, what about a half-archangel?

It’s likely that Jack and Mary will escape Apocalypse Michael’s compound and get to Apocalypse Bobby. After all, he knows about the rift, so turning to him for help would make sense. However, Mary has no idea that Apocalypse Bobby made contact with the Winchesters. Here’s hoping that Jack knows something to find help when they need it.

Apocalypse Bobby is certainly going to be apprehensive. At least, he better be. Our Bobby would do all types of monster tests to find out what they were and make sure Mary was really Mary. He’s not the biggest fan of angels, so may definitely question Jack’s existence (although hopefully he sees whatever he saw in Castiel in the season 12 finale). The two will have some convincing to do.

Now we just need to know when the episode will air. It’s likely to be sometime in February 2018.
