When will we find out if Wayward Sisters has been picked up or not?

How long are we going to have to wait until we find out if Wayward Sisters has been given the go-ahead or not?

It was bad enough waiting for the Wayward Sisters backdoor pilot to air. But the wait we must endure now is going to be even worse, considering the stakes are much higher. So how long we will need to wait until we find out if the Wayward Sisters pilot episode was a success or not?

To be clear, by the way, most at SPNHunters is assuming that Wayward Sisters is getting the go ahead. There really isn’t any reason why it will not considering the high demand for the show, the overall success and reaction to the pilot episode itself. How long we need to wait to get that confirmation, however, is the big question we are trying to figure out.

So when might it be?

So first of all, nothing has been set in stone. As far as we can tell, and if you know otherwise please feed this back to us, no confirmation has been given over when the decision will be made or when it will be announced. Now the decision might have already been decided behind closed doors, but no one has come out and said, “we will let you know by this date”.

What we have just now, are theories. Currently, we have: we will find out at the end of season 13 of Supernatural, during one of the bigger Supernatural conventions, during SDCC 2018 and when Supernatural season 14 has been decided. There is always the possibility that it will just happen when it happens as well.

The most likely scenario is that it will be announced when the decision over Supernatural season 14 is made. Once network bosses have decided on this and are ready to make the announcement you will likely learn the fate of Wayward Sisters as well.

So the big question now is, when will we find out about Supernatural season 14? That likely isn’t going to happen while the Winter Olympics is held or during Oscar season.
