Fox: When do The Simpsons, Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers return?
With the Olympics wrapping up, Fox needs to get back to airing The Simpsons, Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers. In two short weeks, we’ll get new episodes.

The Olympics might be full of stiff competition, but they make for stiff competition. With the world watching the Olympics, they aren’t watching much else. Fox planned accordingly and has been playing reruns of The Simpsons, Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers. With the Olympics wrapping up tomorrow, our favorite Fox Sunday Night shows will be returning soon.
It’s obvious why Fox would wait to air new episodes, but it’s kind of frustrating. We got all the Valentine’s Day episodes back in January. The good news is the shows will be returning two weeks after the Olympics on March 11 and after moving timeslots due to the NFC Championship game.

Thankfully, it gives fans a chance to get back into their TV-watching routine and see some of their favorite animated families. It’s unclear why the shows are taking a two-week hiatus instead of a week, but maybe it gives us all a chance to catch up.
Looking back at the last episodes to air, none will likely feature a continuing plotline. The Simpsons focused on a Doomsday plot, featuring Mr. Burns; Bob’s Burgers had its annual Valentine’s Day episode; while Family Guy aired its 300th episode. Overall, it looks like a clean slate for each of the shows.
If you’re planning on watching the animated line-up on March 4, Fox has a tentative schedule for episodes that will air. Bob’s Burgers will air its most recent episode, “V for Valentine-detta,” while The Simpsons will air an earlier Season 29 episode: “The Old Blue Mayor She Ain’t What She Used To Be.” Finally, Family Guy will air “Nanny Goats,” Episode 3 of Season 16.
It’s surprising to see Bob’s Burgers is the only one airing the most recent episode. Either way, the Sunday Night animation line-up will be back to normal on March 11.
