After a week’s break, NCIS is back with an all-new episode. As the first draft of Ducky’s book is finished, there’s a bomb at NCIS HQ.

The team will be evacuated in NCIS Season 15, Episode 18, titled “Death from Above.” There’s a bomb in NCIS’ headquarters and it’s up to the bomb squad to deal with this. Of course, Gibbs and his team aren’t just going to sit back and do nothing. They’ll likely spend the episode working out who dropped off the bomb, especially since they’re locked in the building and need to find a way out!

Before the bomb materials are found, a dead body is found on the HQ rooftop though. There are no clues who this body belongs to or if this is a direct target on NCIS. However, Gibbs doesn’t believe in coincidences, so there’s likely a big plot.

It’s been a while since one of the team members has been directly involved, and not through an undercover mission or a long-term side story involving an apartment. This week will see the whole of the team involved, and it could start the process for Abby’s exit—although I suspect that the previous episode started that story with introducing a potential replacement.

There’s a moment that looks like Abby is dead in the morgue. However, she’s a smart cookie and figured that hiding in the morgue and pretending to be a dead body is one way to protect herself. It’s a little too obvious for her to die and we would never forgive NCIS for killing our favorite Gothic lab girl off a handful of episodes before the season finale. She deserves far more than that.

Meanwhile, the team will have the chance to read Ducky’s book—yes, it’s another episode with David McCallum and we couldn’t be happier! NCIS Season 15, Episode 18 will introduce the first draft that he and Casey have been working on, but will everyone like it. Judging by one of the promo photos, there’s something Palmer doesn’t like.
