Scoobynatural was awesome, but many of you were probably glued for all the classic Scooby moments. There were some elements you missed the first time round.

Who’s on their millionth time of watching “Scoobynatural?” I’ll admit that I am and it’s something I’m watching with my girls–they love Scooby-Doo and have enjoyed the only episode of Supernatural they’ve watched (they’re two and five) immensely. But the more I watch, the more I notice moments that I didn’t see the very first time.

It’s understandable that you’d have missed some elements. You were watching for all the classic Scooby moments, right? Well, here are four that I’ve spotted after watching it again.

1. The ghost had chains

I noticed the chain the first time, but didn’t really appreciate the significance. The ghost had a chain around his wrist, as if he was chained to something. To the TV? To the Bad Man? To the pocket knife?

It was likely a symbol that he was chained to Earth, when all he wanted was to move on.

2. The sharp change of clothes

When the Gang and Winchesters find the body, they’re all in their nightclothes. The scene cut away for a commercial in the live showing and returned with everyone solving the mystery. By this point they were all dressed.

We can assume they got dressed in the commercial, but it was always one of those things about animation that producers always got away with. But, seriously, when did they have the time to get dressed?

3. Castiel healing with purple

The magic that pulled the Winchesters and Castiel into the TV was purple. It looked like it was magic for the ghost, but then Castiel healed Shaggy with a purple glow. Is it that magic in the world of Scooby-Doo is actually purple?

4. The Winchesters forgot about iron

Sam throws Dean a candle stick holder because it’s iron, but at one of the crucial points the Winchesters and Castiel completely forget about it. This is during the chase montage, when they’re all running through the different doors. All the doors are nailed with wooden planks, but of course the ghost moves through easily.

Why didn’t either of the Winchesters think about iron chains to trap the ghost in one of the rooms? Fred thought about it when it came to his failed plan.
