Scoobynatural was the highest anticipated episode of Supernatural Season 13 and it certainly didn’t disappoint.

Supernatural Season 13, Episode 16 was the episode fans looked forward to the most. It was the moment the Winchesters and Castiel became animated, and a chance for them to meet the Scooby Gang. “Scoobynatural” certainly didn’t disappoint, both in terms of classic Scooby-Doo moments and classic Winchester moments.

There were plenty of fun moments throughout the night, both in and out of animation. Here are the seven best lines from “Scoobynatural.”

Be like Elsa…

There were mentions of other animated shows and movies throughout the night, but the one that stood out the most was a mention of Frozen. Dean showed off his pop culture knowledge, telling Sam to “Let It Go.” As a parent it was a fun mention, but as a Dean!Girl it was hilarious. Just why does Dean know about Elsa’s theme song?

Great, so we’re stuck in a cartoon with a talking dog.

Sam was not impressed with the idea of getting stuck in a cartoon. Of course, eventually he proved that he had plenty of Scooby knowledge, but he just wasn’t in a good mood to begin with. This line said it all, especially with Dean’s retort about the “greatest talking dog in history.”

These guys, they’re our freaking role models, man. Except Fred, he’s a wad.

Dean explained why Scooby and the Gang were so important. It also started the running jokes about Dean’s hatred for Fred. It turns out he just dislikes Fred because he likes Daphne. In the end Dean realizes Fred isn’t that bad after all.

They are pure and innocent and good, and we’re gonna keep it that way.

It’s a cartoon and it shouldn’t be that much of a big deal but to tell the Scooby Gang that ghosts really exist. However, Dean wants to keep them innocent; just allow them to live without knowing the supernatural is real.

I’m back from Syria with fruit from the Tree of Life. The Tree was guarded by a pack of djinn. I killed most of them, bargained with the rest. I think I’m technically married to their queen now.

Castiel is back with one of the ingredients for the spell. It was one of those important plot points added to an otherwise non-plot focused episode. Will this come up later in the season? Could we find out about Castiel’s potential marriage to the Djinn queen?

I should’ve known Velma was good to go. It’s always the quiet ones.

With the case solved and the Scooby Gang back to believing there’s no such thing as the supernatural, the Winchesters and Castiel get ready to leave. They all say their goodbyes, with Velma kissing Sam passionately. It was a match-up we all saw, except Dean. This line says it all.

I would’ve gotten away with it if it wasn’t for those meddling kids.

As Jay was being hauled off by the kids, he said THE LINE. This needs no explanation, right?
