Supernatural Season 13, Episode 18 sneak peek: Can Sam and Cass help Gabriel?
The CW has released a sneak peek for Supernatural Season 13, Episode 18, focusing on Sam and Cass attempting to help Gabriel. Does he remember who they are?
Just how long has Gabriel been stuck in Asmodeus’ prison on Supernatural? We still don’t quite have an answer for that, but we do know that this is the real Gabriel; the one we all believed had died back in Season 5. The Supernatural Season 13, Episode 18 first sneak peek is here and it’s time to see Sam and Cass attempt to help the tortured archangel.
One thing you’ll get from the sneak peek is that Gabriel has been locked away for years. It’s likely since we believed he’d died. He’s just a shell of the archangel he once was, and it’s hard to imagine that this was once the guy who used TV Land to annoy and teach the Winchesters a lesson. Richard Speight Jr. did a tremendous job acting with just his eyes in the last episode and that continues into the sneak peek.

The sneak picks up with Sam and Cass walking into Gabriel’s room to deliver food. Gabriel is huddled by a dresser, frightened by anyone who touches him. Of all the people to help him, Sam is likely the best choice. After all, he was tortured by Lucifer in the cage. It will be interesting to see if any of that comes up during Supernatural Season 13, Episode 18, titled “Bring ’em Back Alive.”

This is going to be a traumatic episode for Gabriel, as he possibly shares everything that he’s been through. The sneak peek just gives a glimpse of the things to come.
