Universal Studios is having an ultimate Jurassic Park 25th anniversary celebration
Calling all Jurassic Park super-fans! Universal Studios is throwing a 25th Anniversary Celebration (and yes, you can cosplay as a dinosaur!).
On Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12, Universal Studios is throwing an epic Jurassic Park Celebration for the movie’s 25th anniversary. The exclusive event is in “honor of the blockbuster action-adventure that brought dinosaurs out of extinction a quarter century ago.” There are a few different elements to the special ticketed event, but a main attraction is the private screening of the original Jurassic Park film at Universal’s CityWalk in the brand new Universal Cinema. Fans will watch the original trailer and the full movie surrounded by other super-fans.
The highlight of the event however, is the exclusive after-hours park access, which will take place inside the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park in the Lower Lot next to “Jurassic Park—The Ride”.

Guests at the Jurassic Park party will receive a special commemorative lanyard and unlimited access the theme park ride, but there will also be displays of the original props (including the Gyrosphere as seen in the record-breaking Jurassic World), original dinosaur maquettes, and costume displays. On top of that, the Jurassic Park celebration will have its own interactive expo area, live entertainment, themed food and special merchandise.

And yes, if you’re attending the Jurassic Park 25th Anniversary Celebration event, you are able to cosplay and dress up as your favorite character from the franchise (dinosaurs included). But there are rules in place regarding weapons and masks, so be sure to read the requirements here.
