Bob’s Burgers: Looking at Bob and Linda through the seasons
Season 3: “Lindapendent Woman”
While seasons 1 and 2 didn’t feature a lot of Bob and Linda, season 3 was the opposite. It was hard to pick just one episode. With their first Valentine’s Day episode, “My Fuzzy Valentine” to “An Indecent Thanksgiving Proposal,” Bob and Linda had a lot of great episodes together.

The episode that stood out was “Lindapendent Woman.” The episode begins with Linda balancing the checkbook for the restaurant and we see the impact she has on the restaurant. In order to help them more, Linda gets a part-time job, leaving Bob to run the restaurant by himself.
Throughout the episode, we watch them struggle without each other and eventually, come back together. In the end, they decide it’s better to work together and struggle than be apart. This episode is peppered with incredible Bob-Linda moments including their song and Linda’s little jabs at Bob.
Overall, the biggest takeaway from the episode is simple. There are no Bob’s Burgers without Linda. She is the heart and soul of the restaurant as much as Bob is. Everything did and will fall apart without her there. It’s heartwarming to see how much Bob appreciates Linda and how easy the two get back into the swing of things.
