One thing I always hated about living in the UK was waiting forever for American shows to air on UK networks. Supernatural has had some bad treatment in the UK, being dropped from ITV’s networks and left for more than a year before Channel 4’s E4 would pick it up. It’s time to meet Jack
The biggest thing about the Supernatural Season 13 premiere is that it’s time to meet the nephilim Jack. If you’ve been avoiding spoilers about the character, I won’t share who he’s searching for (it’s his dad, but who’s his dad?) or whether he can be trusted. All I will share is that there are some serious Season 4 throwbacks throughout his introduction and actions. And yes, there are also some hilarious moments.
Jack has quickly become my favorite character of the season and I look forward to anything else Alexander Calvert brings to the series.

Dean and Sam search for Jack
Throughout the episode, the search is on for Jack. It’s no easy for the Winchesters, who have now lost everyone. As a quick reminder, Castiel and Crowley were killed at the end of Season 12, Mary was pulled into the Apocalypse World by Lucifer, and Kelly Kline died after giving birth to Jack. To say the Winchesters are alone is an understatement. This time they also feel it, especially Dean.
