Gabriel will return in Supernatural Season 13, Episode 20. If you didn’t guess that from the synopsis then you probably shouldn’t be looking for a sneak peek for the upcoming episode, right? The sneak peek does more than prove Gabriel is back but shows just how easy it is for the Winchesters to find him.
Of course, that’s only because Gabriel wants to be found!

With Rowena on their side, the Winchesters now have a way to track an archangel. It turns out Cass is off to Armadillo, which is one of the locations Rowena found. The other is right where the Winchesters are and they’re going to stay put in a dingy motel room until they find him.
Just as Dean is getting ready to jump on the massage bed, the door to the motel room slams open. Guess who shows up? Yep, Gabriel!

He walks in with a bloody wound on his side, which suggests he’s really only popping up because he needs the Winchesters’ help. How Gabriel knew they were there isn’t clear yet. After all, the Winchesters had sigils carved into their ribs by Castiel way back in the day so Gabriel shouldn’t be able to find them. Maybe Gabriel is just very good at keeping an ear to the ground or there was something in Rowena’s spell.
Anyway, Gabriel wants help. Will the Winchesters make a deal on Supernatural Season 13, Episode 20?
