It’s finally time to look at the promo and synopsis for the Supernatural Season 13 finale. Everything has been working to this point. Just what can we expect?

Over the last 22 episodes, we’ve had old faces return, lost dear characters, seen a backdoor pilot that deserves life, been a part of two different worlds, and seen Heaven start to crumble. Now is the time for everything to come together. It’s the Supernatural Season 13 finale on Thursday and there is so much still to happen.

Now that everyone is in the Men of Letters bunker in the Paradise World (except Lucifer and Michael who are trapped in the AU World and Gabriel who is, once more, RIP), there’s a chance they’ll find a way to stop Apocalypse Michael for good. Of course, that isn’t going to be easy or straightforward.

Here’s a look at the promo and synopsis. I’ll break it down with the top five takeaways to get you ready for Thursday night.

#1. Jack will likely see Lucifer for who he really is

Lucifer did a good number on Jack within just minutes of meeting his son. Understandably, Jack wanted to hear Lucifer’s side of the story and it was a mature decision for a year-old child. However, that led to a little brainwashing and stretching of the truth.

Now it looks like Jack is going to figure out the real truth and see that actually the Winchesters and Castiel weren’t lying. Jack could always go into Sam’s head and extract some memories, I would think. However it’s going to happen, there is a snippet of Jack throwing Lucifer up against a fridge in a shop. That’s good enough for me right now.

#2. Michael and Lucifer get through

This really isn’t that surprising. They promised to team up at the end of the last episode and Lucifer knew all the ingredients for the spell. It will be interesting to see just who will give up his grace for the spell or whether they can take it from Gabriel’s corpse–they better not!

Somehow, the two archangels will reek havoc on the Paradise World. Lucifer wants his revenge and Michael wants to take control of a second world because playing God to a wasteland isn’t enough.

#3. Nobody seems to be in the bunker

There’s a shot when the Winchesters and Castiel are in the bunker in the map room. This was where everyone stepped through earlier but now it looks like everyone is gone. Surely this can’t be the case. There are photos of Apocalypse Bobby and Mary Winchester both in the episode. However, there are no photos of anyone else.

It seems a little odd that everyone has disappeared. What about Rowena and her way of helping? How about Apocalypse Charlie and Ketch? They made a good team. We’ll have to wait for the episode to find out why everyone is gone.

#4. Michael’s vessel is dying

One thing that was brought up back in Supernatural Season 5 was that archangels needed to find their rightful vessel. Remember when Nick was decaying the longer Lucifer stayed in him? He needed Sam’s vessel and Michael needed Dean’s. Now it looks like this problem is coming up.

Obviously, since the Winchesters weren’t around in the Apocalypse World, the rightful vessels were different. Or maybe that wasn’t a problem. Either way, now it looks like Michael is succumbing to many of the same issues that Nick faced in Season 5. Unless this is Rowena’s spell work.

#5. Dean makes the sacrifice?

Someone is going to be an impulsive decision and it looks like it’s going to be Dean. Look at the end of the promo and you can see Dean and Lucifer flying in the air towards each other. There’s no way Dean can jump that high, so he must be powered by something big and dangerous.

Dean saying yes to Michael has been a theory for the Supernatural Season 13 finale for a while. Is this a hint that it’s going to happen? Now the question is which Michael it will be — Apocalypse Michael or Michael from the cage?

Or will we get someone completely different? Sure enough, though, Dean looks like he’ll be possessed by someone or something.

"Our heroes, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester, continue to be tested in the battle between good and evil, but one impulsive decision could alter the lives of one the brothers forever."
