After a full season of wondering about Jack’s past, we’re finally going to learn more in the NCIS Season 15 finale. It’s easy to make assumptions based on those scars on her back and the things she’s said to Vance, but there is a deeper story to this. Now it looks like Vance and Gibbs are going to have a reason to worry about her, as a ghost from the past potentially rears his head.

During the episode, Jack will be certain that her former torturer is alive and in the United States. This man was supposedly killed during her rescue, but she knows from the sound of the man’s voice that it’s him. He is the one responsible for the deaths of three of her friends. Now it’s up to her to prove that she’s right or realize that the PTSD is much deeper and worrying that anyone ever thought. Just which way will it go?

Naturally, the team is worried about her. Torres knew there were secrets and doesn’t seem too happy that she kept something like this from them. Honestly, it’s not surprising she would keep things from them until she figured out who to trust and maybe that’s what her profiling earlier in the season was all about.

She will tell Gibbs the truth, showing him the scars on her back. This is clearly the first time he knows the full truth, but this is Gibbs and there’s no way that he will judge her. However, he will be worried about the steps she’ll take to get the justice she believes she can get from this man in custody.
