Wayward Sisters: Help Netflix pick up the series
Wayward Sisters still hasn’t been snatched up by a streaming service. While fans are tagging The CW to allow someone else ot pick it up, this isn’t going to help. Here’s what you need to do instead.
When Wayward Sisters was initially passed over by The CW, fans instantly took to Twitter to share their anger and disappointment. The CW was naturally the target since this was the network that had been so positive about it only to turn it down at the last second. However, it’s clear that The CW isn’t going to change its mind now. The schedule for the fall has been set and plans for the midseason have already been put in motion.
So, now it’s time to focus on a streaming service. Netflix is likely the best place for Wayward Sisters to go now. However, it’s not The CW that we need to get to give up the rights or license the show to the streaming service. It’s all about Warner Bros. now.

Warner Bros. is the studio that owns Wayward Sisters (and parent show Supernatural). It’s up to the production company where the series goes and who licenses it. If Warner Bros. doesn’t think Netflix is a good fit or there’s not enough money on the table, the company isn’t going to give it up.

One of the good things about it being in the hands of Warner Bros. is that the show could be shopped anyway. There’s no issue of cross-network promotion and licensing deals since Warner Bros. isn’t connected to a particular network. This is why another genre show, Lucifer, is looking towards the streaming services. It’s owned by Warner Bros. too.
To be able to get Wayward Sisters on Netflix, Warner Bros. will need to see that we want it there. This is the company to start tagging into your tweets. Continue to be as vocal as you want to get it picked up!
