Big Brother 19 was highlighted not just by Paul Abrahamian, but showmances that took over the BB19 house. Could the cast of Big Brother 20 end up following the same path?

There were three showmances that really dominated the BB19 cast. They were Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson, Elena Davies and Mark Jansen, and Raven Walton and Matt Clines. Rumors of a romance between Paul Abrahamian and Christmas Abbott also persisted, though it never took place in the Big Brother 19 house.

The Big Brother 19 results

As previously reported by Inside the BB House, it was Josh Martinez who ended up winning the season. The final three were Josh, Paul Abrahamian, and Christmas Abbott. The trio was in an alliance for nearly the entire summer, getting the BB19 house to do most of their bidding. None of the Big Brother 19 showmances made it to the end. It showed what might have been possible, had they just worked together.

That’s not to say that the showmances didn’t find success, as they each made it deep into the game. The duo of Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson was the first one broken up. Jessica fell just short of making the BB19 jury, which created a lot of anger in Cody. The next couple broken up was Elena Davies and Mark Jansen. Finally, it was Raven Walton and Matt Clines, who had been convinced that Paul was working with them. He wasn’t.

The good news, after the show, for Jessica and Cody, was an invitation to join The Amazing Race. The couple won the $1 million prize. Now, following that success, an entire season of the show will include Big Brother houseguests. CBS will use all that positive buzz to its advantage.
