Without Loren Bouchard, there would be no Bob’s Burgers. Even though he’s just billed as the creator, Bouchard is so much to the show and the fandom.

Bob’s Burgers has become larger than any of us imagined. The fandom is huge with people spanning the globe and the show receiving critical acclaim. As important as the fandom is, there’s one person who doesn’t get enough credit and that’s Loren Bouchard.

Loren Bouchard is not only the creator but also a writer, producer, composer and much more for the series. In addition, he’s also working on other projects and is a refreshing face in the adult cartoon landscape.

Bouchard represents a unique presence as he understands what it’s like to be a fan, how to talk to fans and their love for the show. Unlike other creators, he truly takes the time to look at, makes comments and even talk to fans on Twitter. Twitter might not seem like a big deal, but Bouchard is a rare breed when it comes to Twitter.

More from FOX

If you scroll through his Twitter, you’ll find him answering questions from fans, giving hints to future seasons, retweeting Bob’s Burgers related tweets, sharing articles and generally being a cool person. Not a lot of TV show creators would take time out of their day to appreciate their fans as much as he does.

It’s a testament not only to the fans but to Bouchard as a person. He knows how much we love Bob’s Burgers and he’s ever grateful for our love and support. I know I’ve freaked out a few times when he noticed my articles or retweeted something I worked hard on. It’s a satisfying feeling to know

Bouchard doesn’t just stay active on Twitter, though. Despite being on a busy schedule, he makes time for interviews. He’s done a lot of video interviews but is also a featured guest on podcasts and has done interviews with multiple publications.

Loren Bouchard is creating a new experience for fans. In a way, he almost seems like a long-lost friend. You might talk every once in a while, but he always has some cool information to share or a fun fact.

Creating a TV show is no small feat, but Bouchard is going the extra mile. He’s appreciating fans, accepting them and is willing to listen. As members of fandom, that’s all we can really ask for. As far as other creators go, Bouchard is setting the precedent for how creators should behave with fans.
