Lucifer: Amazon still in discussion with the series.

Time is running out for the recently canceled Lucifer, but there is still a faint ray of hope as Amazon is still in discussion over if they should #SaveLucifer #PickUpLucifer or not.
With the recent announcement that Lucifer only has one week left to be saved, hope for the #SaveLucifer #PickUpLucfer campaign is dwindling fast. However, a ray of hope may still be on the horizon as Amazon is still in talks with the recently cancel FOX series.
Amazon Studios head, Jennifer Salke, while in an interview with Deadline, shared that talks were still taking place over if they should save Lucifer or not. Amazon recently saved The Expanse from cancellation after SYFY canceled the series and Lucifer fans are hoping they will do the same for our favorite devil.

Salke explained that the last time she had checked in, the day before the interview, Thursday, June 7, talks were still ongoing.
She also revealed a lot of the push and support for the series has come internationally, mainly the UK. This, of course, would have been one of the major factors to why FOX canceled the series. International viewers don’t really support the network as much as domestic viewers.
However, this could be a major advantage for Amazon. With them being a streaming network, where the viewing numbers come from is not as big an issue for them as they are a US network. As long as people subscribe to the service they are happy.

Hopefully, come June 16, the final make or break date for Lucifer comes round, we will be hearing that Amazon, or heck anyone, has given the go-ahead to #SaveLucifer #PickUpLucifer.
