Supernatural Easter eggs coming to The House with a Clock in Its Walls
Eric Kripke’s first move into movies is coming and there is a special treat for Supernatural fans. Watch out for the Easter eggs in The House with a Clock in Its Walls.
Timeless may have been canceled, but Kripke isn’t staying down. In fact, he’s got his first movie to look forward to. The House with a Clock in Its Walls is out later this year and there is a special treat for the SPN Family. Supernatural Easter eggs have been written in.
This isn’t the first time Kripke has paid homage to the fantasy series. There have been plenty of Easter eggs thrown into Timeless, including a nod to the Harvelles in the pilot episode. However, a first jump into movies is extra special and Kripke purposely wrote a ton of Supernatural Easter eggs that we need to look out for. He’s made that clear in his most recent tweet about the upcoming family movie.

There’s already an A-list cast attached and Nathan Barr, composer for Flatliners, has done the music for the movie. This is just an extra special reason for the SPN Family to head to the theaters to catch it.
The House with a Clock in Its Walls is the origin story for the supernatural series. Kripke previously shared that the book the movie is based on was the inspiration for the Winchesters’ tales. While Supernatural has certainly developed since the original days, it’s going to be fun for many to go back to where it all started; where the inspiration came from.
Kripke has also shared that he’s going to drop some clues as to where the Easter eggs are. This is getting very exciting!
