Supernatural Season 14 filming in action means one thing: lots of spoilers. It’s easy to guess who will be guest starring in episodes and a rough idea of things to expect from social media updates and pictures. The latest spoiler is of a fan-favorite guest star who is definitely appearing.

We already knew the series regulars were coming back. Knowing Jack would be in the first episode wasn’t that surprising, but it did put a smile on our faces to get the confirmation. Now we get the confirmation that another fan-favorite is making a return. This time it’s a guest star, who we hoped would be around but weren’t sure if he would.
It’s all about Jim Beaver! The actor tweeted on July 11 that he had filmed his first day. There had been hints before that he would be in Supernatural Season 14 when he said he was on-route.

Yes, Bobby Singer is back! Like Jack, this isn’t surprising. Apocalypse Bobby made his way to the Winchesters’ world. With Michael around, he was going to want to take care of the archangel. After officially making Dean and Sam part of his family, he’ll want to work with the team to save Dean from Michael’s grasp.
The best part of this is that he’ll be in the season premiere. Supernatural Season 14 filming has been in episode order so far, although not in scene order. We’ll get to see him on the very first night of the show’s return.
Maybe this is the year we’ll start to see a romance blossom fully between Bobby and Mary. How about something the show hasn’t done before: the dreaded love triangle between Bobby, Mary, and Ketch? No? Me neither! Mary and Bobby all the way!
