Andrew Dabb hints at Rowena possessing Jack: Could the episode titles support that?
During SDCC 2018, Andrew Dabb mentioned Rowena would possess Jack in Supernatural Season 14. Could the episode titles support that happening?
Andrew Dabb likes to joke but he also likes to tease. Sometimes it’s hard to tell if what he’s telling us is really going to happen, especially when there are jokes running with the cast. This happened last weekend at SDCC 2018. The co-showrunner shared that Rowena would possess Jack during Supernatural Season 14 and we don’t know whether to take him seriously.
This was around the time that questions of returning characters came up. Ruth Connell was at SDCC and in the panel, and Dabb mentioned that Rowena would come back. This isn’t that surprising, but then he “joked” that she’d possess Jack.

While we wouldn’t have put that past Rowena in the past, the current Rowena doesn’t seem like she’d put a young boy at risk like that. The only way that it could be viable is if she was finding a way to unlock whatever power he has left inside him after Lucifer stole some of his grace. Or if this is a matter of survival once more.
The Supernatural Season 14 episode titles could hint that a possession is coming. There are two that stand out: “Curious Cravings” and “Unhuman Nature.”
I’d previously shared that “Curious Cravings” could be a hint to vampires or werewolves coming back into the episode, but what if it’s Rowena taking over Jack’s body? What if there’s a body swap? That would lead to some curious cravings would it not?
“Unhuman Nature” seems to make a little more sense, especially if Jack is getting his powers back by that point. Rowena taking over his body would be “unhuman.”
I’m clutching at straws, I know. That’s because I’m honestly not sure if Dabb was joking or not. This is one of those cases where it’s not really a spoiler but more of a “WTF” moment.
