Supernatural Season 14 spoilers: Will Rowena return?
One of the questions for the panel at SDCC was whether characters would return, and of course a favorite is the Scottish red-head, Rowena McLeod. Will Rowena be back for Supernatural Season 14?
Every season, the odd character from the past will show up. This season is likely to see more, as there are now 30 hunters from the Apocalypse World in the bunker. However, there are a few regulars that we have questions about, right? One of those is Rowena. Will Rowena McLeod be back for Supernatural Season 14?
As you would expect, there may be spoilers in this post (depending on what you class as a spoiler). This is all taken from comments made at SDCC 2018.
The last we heard of Rowena, she was on a road trip with Charlie. That was definitely a gem for many in the SPN Family. Who wouldn’t love to know what these two got up to one their road trip? Will we get to see any of that?

If you’re still reading, you likely want the spoilers. Well, Rowena is going to return to the show at some point in the next season. Andrew Dabb confirmed this at SDCC 2018, along with a comment about Rowena possessing Jack at some point.
It’s unclear just how serious Dabb was about the possession, but it’s important to note that he is bringing Rowena back. Considering she’s become a staple part of the fandom and had one of the biggest, more emotional story arcs last season, that’s not surprising. There’s so much to do with her now that she’s chosen Team Free Will instead of her quest for power.

What could Rowena get up to?
Rowena could be a powerful woman when it comes to taking down Michael. She “leveled up” in the last season to protect herself from Lucifer and those powers were barely used. Now she has a chance to show just what she can do to help get Dean back (we know she’ll want to considering the soft spot she has for the Winchesters) and put Michael back where he belongs (or kill him).
Then there’s always a problem she and Charlie could run into on a road trip, meaning she needs to call the Winchesters for help. This would make a good standalone episode when Dean is saved from Michael.
