A priest will try to take down Lucifer in season 4, but everything’s ok
Lucifer season 4 will include the devil’s reunion with a priest from his past, yet there appears a promise to fans that “everything’s ok.”
This week, the Lucifer cast has returned and they have already had a table read for the first new episode for season 4. Entitled “Everything’s Ok,” the Joe Henderson-penned script title seems like a warm hug to Lucifans.
They have been through a roller coaster of emotions waiting for the show to get picked up by Netflix and wondering what will happen know that Chloe has seen Lucifer’s devil face. “Everything’s Ok” may also be the mantra that the cast and crew used after they went through the thrill of tremendous support by the legions of fans supporting the show they loved. But could this optimistic episode title refer to Chloe and Lucifer’s relationship? Frustrated fans have waited four years to watch this storyline move forward and the romance unfold.

Well it sounds like the writers have already sent in an obstacle to distract Lucifer from his current Chloe relationship revelation by introducing a new priest. According to TV Line, the first episode will introduce a priest who is determined to prove his “conspiracy theory” about Morningstar’s identity, as well as his evil agenda. He sounds determined to expose Lucifer for what he is! As of now, the identity of the actor portraying the priest remains a mystery.
in addition to the table read, Tom Ellis has been recording a new song for the first episode of Lucifer on Netflix. Showrunner Joe Henderson tweeted a black and white photo of the charismatic actor belting out an unnamed song.
Best of all, the gang is all back! Besides Ellis, Aimee Garcia, Leslie-Anne Brandt, Lauren German, D.B. Woodside, Rachael Harris and Kevin Alejandro are all smiles and ready to start Lucifer season 4. But, Tricia Helfer, who portrayed mom/Charlotte will not be returning to the show. Henderson had previously explained on the Word Balloon podcast that they played out her storyline and felt that her second season on the show was a fabulous bonus. He felt it was an insult to bring her back to the show and provide her a storyline that was not worthy of her exceptional talent.
