On Big Brother 20, Rockstar campaigns hard to stay. Brett continues to infiltrate the other side of the house. Another houseguest heads to jury.

The nominations are a done deal on Big Brother. Now it comes down to who has the numbers to stay. Rockstar’s hoping since she survived the block twice before, this time won’t be any different. She figures she’s got Faysal, Scottie, Sam and JC (who always goes with the majority vote). But Kaycee has the power to eliminate one vote. Plus, JC has proven to be a wild card in the past, and Sam is “Team Tyler.”

Rockstar goes to Kaycee, telling her she’s sorry she’s on the block. Rockstar thinks Anglea is very entitled and always gets what she wants. Rockstar says Angela was Haleigh’s target, and it wasn’t Kaycee who was supposed to go home. That’s how sure Rockstar is that she’s staying.

Kaycee can’t believe how confident Rockstar feels, but Kaycee knows she’ll still be in the house after the vote.

More from CBS

Kaycee relays the whole conversation to Angela. The two do a vote count. Kaycee knows she’s got Angela, Tyler and Brett. She plans to strike Faysal’s vote. Kaycee predicts a vote of 5 to 1.

Things are still weird between Tyler and Sam. Sam feels Tyler has replaced her with Angela. Tyler swears his allegiance is still with Sam. He may have chosen Angela, but it was over Rockstar. Sam’s still his number two. Angela openly kept him last week, so he figures he owed her. Tyler and Sam have been in a Final 2 since day one, but she just doesn’t know where he currently stands.

Tyler feels he’s being loyal to everyone he’s made deals with, and he wants to keep them until he absolutely has to decide otherwise. Sam continues to trust Tyler which is likely to be her ultimate downfall.

Brett’s done a great job of convincing the other side of the house he’s been distancing himself from Angela and Kaycee, so Rockstar goes to him to plead her case. Brett finds himself agreeing to be in a secret alliance with Rockstar. Obviously, we know who Brett rolls with, but Rockstar takes their newfound working relationship very seriously. She decides they should call themselves “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.”

Rockstar and Haleigh continue to hand over details to Brett. Rockstar even asks for his help with her speech on eviction night. She plans to call out the Tyler-Angela alliance, warning the other houseguests the most they can hope for is third place. Brett’s in deep, and he knows there’s going to be fallout after the vote, but his plan is to deny, deny, deny.

Big Brother pays a visit to Tyler’s mom, Charline. Tyler may have initially come off as a dumb surfer dude, but fans know he’s running the game. This Midwestern boy has been a competitor all of his life. It turns out Tyler is a great … bowler.

Tyler was super close to his father, and bowling was their thing. Tyler’s dad passed away when Tyler was 17, and he gave up the sport. It was hard for Tyler to continue after his father’s death.

Charline says Tyler is a very genuine person, and the connections he’s made in the house are real. She is confident this will get him far.

The time comes for the live vote and eviction and another blindside — at least for Rockstar.

During her final plea to stay on, Rockstar calls out the Angela-Kaycee-Tyler alliance. She warns the other houseguests that by keeping Kaycee, they’re empowering that alliance as opposed to themselves. Nobody seems shocked, interested or impressed by what Rockstar has to say.

The Hacker prevents Faysal from voting. The Big Brother Hacker twist is officially over.

Angela, JC, Sam, Brett and Tyler vote to evict Rockstar. Scottie is the lone vote to evict Kaycee.

By a vote of 5-1, Rockstar is eliminated from the house.

Rockstar admits to Julie she was blindsided. Rockstar thinks Sam was the one vote to keep her because they have a bond and friendship that is removed from the game. Rockstar feels most betrayed by whoever came up with the Hacker twist.

Because Rockstar is part of the jury, Julie can’t give her much info. Brett reveals in his goodbye message that he played her. Angela confirms she is entitled and gets what she wants, and what she wanted was Rockstar out.

The HoH comp is called, “Glow & Flow.” To win, each player need sto retrieve “rave fuel” from their barrels, slide across the dance floor and deposit it into a large glow stick. There is a smaller glow stick as well. A player can choose to fill that glow stick first, and by doing so, will win 5k. The first houseguest to fill the large glow stick and remove their ping-pong ball becomes the new HoH.

This HoH will play out for a while, so check back on Sunday, August 19 at 8/7c to find out the results.
