Chris Pine will forever cement A-list status with Outlaw King
By Ryan Mekkes
It’s movies like Outlaw King that make great actors into legendary actors. Chris Pine is about to rise to an unprecedented status in Hollywood.
This isn’t even a bold prediction, honestly: Chris Pine will never be the same after Outlaw King. These are the kind of roles that have people talking for years to come.
Have we forgotten Gerard Butler’s performance in 300? Have we forgotten Brad Pitt in Troy? No — and we won’t forget Chris Pine either.
We already know that Pine has superior acting chops, as he’s more than proven he is a top tier talent. But this is the type of movie that will have him stealing leading roles for the foreseeable future.

And as to how it will perform, there is already a ton of hype for this movie. The internet is freaking out over the trailer with “Tweeters,” YouTubers, and internet pundits alike weighing in on the recently released trailer.
So there’s little doubt it will be a success. Netflix is also wisely doing a select theater release for the movie as well, which will allow it to test the box office.
What makes Outlaw King all the more exciting is that, historically, it is the sequel to Braveheart. According to Historic UK, Robert the Bruce rose to prominence after William Wallace. So if you’ve been waiting and hoping for a continuation of that story, here it is.
So there is a lot to be excited about. It’s been a long time since something this exciting has dropped, and Chris Pine is sure to deliver.
Outlaw King is set for a November 9 release. It will be well worth the wait.
