Danneel Ackles is now known to the SPN Family as Sister Jo and Jensen Ackles’ wife. Before all that, she was on One Tree Hill and now she’s raising money with her former castmates.

Before Danneel Ackles became the manipulative and smart Sister Jo and before she was even an Ackles, she was on One Tree Hill. Billed as Danneel Harris, she took on the role of the confident, sassy, manipulative Rachel Gatina. It’s with her castmates from the series that Danneel is involved in her latest fundraising project.

After all, Danneel is definitely not Rachel. Danneel is a kindhearted soul who just wants to help. That’s why she’s currently raising funds for the victims and others affected by Hurricane Florence. The hurricane hit Wilmington, North Carolina, which was where Danneel and her castmates grew up on One Tree Hill.

The fundraiser is through a Stands campaign, which often aligns itself with Supernatural stars for charitable campaigns. Recently, it’s put a lot of focus on aligning with the women of the series, including Sam Smith, Kim Rhodes, Briana Buckmaster, and Alaina Huffman.

Danneel Ackles is also aligning her efforts with Random Acts, which is Misha Collins’ charity. Everyone is working together to ensure all proceeds for products bought under the #CapeFearlessChallenge campaign will go to the hurricane relief.

The goal is to sell 1000 T-shirts, which is a simple design of North Carolina’s state outline. The ideas is that it’s “To North Carolina with Love.” At the time of writing this, the campaign is more than three-quarters of the way to the goal and there are still 14 days left to donate.
