Supernatural Season 14: Will Michael save the angels?

Supernatural Season 14, Episode 1 saw Michael!Dean put his initial plan in motion. The big question remains whether he’ll help save the angels.

One of the things Michael!Dean told Sister Jo was that he could tell how few angels there are in the world in Supernatural Season 14. He also made it clear that he didn’t think the angels were even worth saving; not if they’re all almost human like Sister Jo is.

By the end of the episode, it looked like he’d given up on the angels. After finding vampires, he’d realized that their wants and desires were pure. So, will Michael ever save the angels or are they destined to die out?

Considering Michael doesn’t like humans, there’s nothing really encouraging him to save the angels. The only benefit of saving the angels in this world is to prevent souls from being kicked out of Heaven. Is Michael really going to be bothered at the idea of spirits around the world?

In a way, the spirits will do his bidding. Once spirits are on the Earth, there’s the chance they’ll turn into vengeful spirits. Some may have even been violent spirits that somehow got through to Heaven.

By letting the angels die out and the spirits to get back to Earth, there’s a chance the humans will be killed. Michael can win without lifting a finger.

Michael gains more with the monsters and creatures

By building an army of monsters, Michael gains more towards his plan. The monsters just want to live and survive. They want to eat and thrive in a world that makes them hide in the shadows.

With pure intentions, Michael stands a better chance of winning the war. He doesn’t really need to worry about the monsters turning against him because they’ll know his strength and power. Sister Jo was immediately scared of Michael!Dean in the Supernatural Season 14 premiere.

Plus, there’s surely a way that Michael can show these monsters what happened in his world to their kind. They won’t want that to happen so Michael immediately has a loyal army in the way he did in the Apocalypse World.

My theory is that Michael won’t save the angels. He’s got no reason to.
