At the end of Supernatural Season 14, Episode 2, it looked like the gang was back together. After following the trailer of Michael!Dean, Sam, Bobby, and Mary faced off against super-charged werewolves. Then we got the moment we’d been waiting for: the gang got back together.

At least, it looks like the gang is back together. Dean did say “Sammy,” making it look like this really was the older Winchester brother back in control. However, is this really Dean Winchester? More importantly, is this only Dean Winchester?

We’re all familiar with the Trojan Horse, right? The Greek lore of the horse that the army built as a gift to the people of Troy. They hid inside, knowing it was the only way to get into the walled city and make Troy fall.

Is this Michael’s plan? Has he decided to sneak his way into the Men of Letter’s bunker? After all, there’s no way he’d just give up his sword, would he?

Supernatural Season 14, Episode 2 saw Michael!Dean set up a trap for the hunters. He knew they were tracking him and set his super-charged werewolves after them. Why would he just jump out of Dean’s body in search for the new vessel? Michael didn’t have to lift a finger to kill the vampire girl, Lydia. He wouldn’t have felt threatened about the hunters being around.

Quite simply, as much as many fans want to see Sam and Dean back together, it doesn’t make sense for Michael to give up his sword. However, a Trojan Horse set up does. Michael could remain alert and find out what the hunters know and what their plan in. He could get into the Bunker to get rid of some of the strongest humans he knows to then make it easier to rule the world.
