Supernatural Season 14, Episode 2 images: Will Sam and Michael!Dean come face to face?
Supernatural Season 14, Episode 2 images are in. While Castiel and Jack talk, Sam goes on a hunt to find Michael!Dean.
I’ll be the first to admit that I was disappointed in how Deanmon was handled in Supernatural Season 10. When it comes to Michael!Dean, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Now I can’t wait for the second episode and love the images from Supernatural Season 14, Episode 2, titled “Gods and Monsters,” that The CW has now released.
There are clearly three storylines that could combine into two going on this episode. The first is all about Castiel and Jack, which we know from the promo. While Sam heads out in search for Michael!Dean, Castiel stays behind to help Jack.

This is likely the episode we see that moment from the trailer when Jack suggests killing Dean is better than having Michael on the loose. From a soldier point of view, Castiel should really agree. The life of one is not usually worth the lives of many.
However, Dean is Castiel’s best friend and vice versa. Cass will do anything to save Dean Winchester because actually, the life of Dean is worth the lives of many. Without Dean and Sam together, the world will be a dangerous and desolate place.
Regardless of that argument right now, the images show that Castiel and Jack are going to get some bonding time in Supernatural Season 14, Episode 2.
Meanwhile, Sam is heading off on a hunt for Michael!Dean. Sister Jo gave him some information at the end of the last episode and now he’s using it. Mary and Bobby will head off with him, bringing us a team of skilled hunters who may just be able to stop the end of humanity.
What they’ll find is another matter. It looks like the three hunters end up in a house that Michael!Dean has been staying in for the time being. This could be where Sam and Michael!Dean come face to face, but what happens in the end?
The third storyline is Michael!Dean’s. There are images of him in what looks to be an abandoned church. We saw in the trailer that Michael asked “who’s next” wearing a leather apron and looking at people chained to the ceiling. One of those victims is Lydia Crawford, played by Meganne Young this week.
Will we finally get to see what exactly Michael!Dean is planning to do? Is this some sort of ritual spell or hex to “purify” the Earth? And why is there an image of Michael sat at a kitchen table?

These Supernatural Season 14, Episode 2 images give us far more questions than answers. However, it’s going to be fun to see the episode play out on Thursday.
