Watch the Legacies series premiere online

The highly anticipated Vampire Diaries spin-off, Legacies, debuts tonight and we are providing you with the details on how you can watch the show live.

Tonight, we’ll be returning to Mystic Falls after Vampire Diaries ended back in March 10, 2017. We’ll be seeing one of our favorite characters, sheriff Matt Donovan appear in the Vampire Diaries spin-off, Legacies, pilot. Alaric Davis will be a series regular, so we’ll be seeing him in every episode, and I am not complaining.

Creator and executive producer, Julie Plec, teased fans that the door was open for the actors from both Vampire Diaries and The Originals to reprise their roles on Legacies. So far, both sheriff Matt Donovan and Jeremy Gilbert are set to appear on Legacies in the first few episodes.

I’m not sure how they’ll be able to bring in Stefan as he sacrificed himself in the Vampire Diaries series finale to make Damon and Elena happy and to save Mystic Falls. They could put him in a flashback episode or if Damon or Elena return to Legacies, they could be talking to him and see him in their mind.

Then again, it’s the magic of TV and anything can happen. The writers and producers can always find a way to bring back Stefan. Nope, I’m not letting this go.

The show will have Vampire Diaries vibes, along with Harry Potter and Buffy the Vampire Slayer vibes. It’s going to be exciting to watch this show as I am a die-hard fan of Vampire Diaries. Legacies will be centered on Hope, and it’ll be her story.

There will be new characters, as well. Regardless, I’m excited about this and to see how the show unfolds.

"Under the guidance of headmaster Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis), the next generation of supernatural beings at The Salvatore Boarding School for the Young and Gifted — including tri-brid Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell), Alaric’s twins Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) and Josie (Kaylee Bryant), high-energy vampire MG (Quincy Fouse), newly-triggered werewolf Rafael (Peyton Alex Smith) and the mysterious Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) — come of age in the most unconventional way possible, nurtured to be their best selves…in spite of their worst impulses."

I’ve been waiting months for Legacies to debut and it has finally arrived. It’s going to be great seeing Alaric back in every episode. Legacies is going to have a lighter tone than Vampire Diaries, and the characters will be in age-appropriate relationships, rather than a teenager dating 100-year men.

The former Salvatore school becomes The Salvatore Boarding School for the Young and Gifted, so while you’re watching the show and you’re noticing something familiar, there you go.
