In the series premiere of Legacies, we learned Landon disappeared and he may expose the school to someone. Here’s what to expect tonight and how to watch.

The Legacies series premiere was great. Julie Plec did a phenomenal job of making Legacies its own show. It didn’t rely on either The Vampire Diaries or The Originals. Julie has also done a great job making Danielle Rose Russell (Hope) the center of the show. Matthew Davis (Alaris) and her can certainly carry the show.

We have learned that Penelope (Josie’s ex) broke Alaric’s daughter’s, Josie, heart since Penelope and her have broken up. When Josie saw Penelope kissing her friend MG, she became jealous and cast a magic spell to put fire on Penelope to prevent Penelope and MG from kissing any further. Afterward, we learned that Josie is bisexual as we saw Josie and Rafael form a relationship.

We also learned Landon isn’t who we think he is since Alaric cannot compel him. Landon is a supernatural, and he was up to no good as he stole a magic knife and took a bus. Hope tracked Landon down using her dark magic.

Once Alaric and Hope found the bus, and Hope went into the bus. We saw no one alive and Landon wasn’t anywhere in sight. After that, Hope said she would be the biggest villain of his story.

This now brings us to…

What to expect next episode

As we saw on this week’s promo, the school was at risk of being exposed because of Hope. Hope was talking to Rafael (Landon’s foster-brother), and he told her it was just a stupid knife. Hope told Rafael nothing in the school was stupid.

Since Hope is a supernatural and Rafael isn’t one, he does not understand what is going on.

Hope found Landon and used her dark magic on him and asked him where the knife was. Alaric yelled at Hope, telling her dark magic isn’t allowed. The gang encountered a witch, who was burning everything. I’m not sure if the production team cut out the scenes or not, because it seems either the witch was trying to kill the gang or she was trying to burn objects that were in sight, or both together.

I love that we have suspense for the second episode as we have no idea what is going on.
