It seems like the perfect time for God to return in Supernatural Season 14. Could we see Amara instead? Let’s look at the chances.

Supernatural Season 14 is the perfect time for God to return. I’ve thought that for a while. But what about Amara? The two have the same level of power and Amara could help without being too emotionally attached.

This was a question that came up in TVLine’s questions last week. Showrunner Andrew Dabb has said that the fifth season was the perfect time for God to show up but he didn’t. Well, he did; we saw Chuck! God just made it clear that he didn’t care.

He never really has cared since that point. When it came to Amara threatening to destroy the whole world, God didn’t exactly rush in to save it. Why will this time be any different?

Amara is a different story. This is a woman who wanted to destroy the whole of God’s creation. She was jealous and she wanted to destroy the toy that her brother had built. In the end, Dean helped to bring brother and sister back together and Amara decided not to destroy the Earth and its inhabitants after all.

Does this mean she cares about humans and the world? Or is she just not jealous enough to destroy it? What about that connection she and Dean shared because he bore the mark and released her from her cage?

It is possible that Amara cares enough about Dean to help save the world. She also has the power to do it. She could create more angels (even possibly archangels) and help take Michael down a peg or two. Look at what she did to Casifer!

Out of the two omnipotent beings, my money is on Amara being the one to show up if asked. Well, that is if Emily Swallow is available to film. The character is the one that makes the most sense.
