We all know how God reacted when Lucifer tempted humans and made it clear he hated the creation. What would God do now to find out his loyal son also hates humans on Supernatural?

Michael has always been viewed as the loyal son on Supernatural, so it was a little surprising to find out that he was worse than Lucifer, in a way. Now he’s looking for a way to purify another Earth because he hates humans.

It’s a running thing in the series. Angels don’t like God’s creation. Whether it’s jealousy or just that they view themselves as the better creations, they don’t like what God created and had made it clear they’re not doing humans many favors.

Yet Michael was still always viewed as the loyal one. He was God’s soldier and the one who would ask how high when told to jump. That was why Dean was the perfect vessel for Dean–versus Sam as the rebellious younger brother.

With that in mind, how will God react to learning that Michael hates humans, too? Does he already know this?

When God found out Lucifer hated humans and proved they were “flawed,” he put Lucifer in a cage. This was Lucifer’s punishment. Would God consider doing the same thing to him? Bear in mind that Lucifer was God’s favorite angel and the fact that God has been MIA for so long, it would seem unlikely, but he’d still be disappointed right.

Considering Michael was a loyal soldier, this could also be the wake-up call that God needs. It’s time for the father to clean up some of the mess he made. After all, if he hadn’t just walked away, the world probably wouldn’t be in the state it is right now.

God is meant to be all-powerful and all-seeing. Shouldn’t he have foreseen all this? That would then suggest that he knew all about Michael’s hatred for humans and he won’t be that surprised. And there’s no point punishing a different world version of his son when there are Winchesters around who can do it for him.

Now, has that messed with your mind?

The idea of how God will feel and what he’ll do if he finds out Michael hates humans is a minefield. After all, there’s always the chance that he just doesn’t care anymore or that he knew and just didn’t care enough to prevent this nightmare that will be Supernatural Season 14.
