Supernatural Season 14 fall finale: What’s the big cliffhanger going to be?
It’s the Supernatural Season 14 fall finale on Thursday. That means a major cliffhanger to make us need to tune in after the New Year. What’s the cliffie going to be?
Supernatural Season 14 is going on its winter Hellatus after Thursdays. For a little more than a month, we’ll have no new episodes (in some cases, no episodes at all) with a major cliffhanger teasing us. So, what’s the cliffhanger going to be?
And yes, there definitely will be one. Supernatural always ends its fall finales with a cliffhanger. Last year, we had Dean and Sam trapped in The Bad Place and Jack in the Apocalypse World thanks to Kaia. Season 12 saw Sam and Dean arrested by the Secret Service for attempting to assassinate POTUS.

And Season 11? Well, that was the time Sam, Dean, and Castiel made it to Lucifer’s cage. He revealed that he’d been the one giving Sam all those visions so he could get out of the pesky cage.
So yeah, cliffhangers are standard and we’re going to get one on Thursday. What could it be?
Well, it has to be something to do with Michael. The cliffies are always linked to the big storyline and this season it’s been about the Apocalypse World archangel. The trailer shows that Michael has taken over a female vessel, but there’s a point at 13s that gives a hint of the cliffhanger.

I think it’s going to link to Dean’s vision issues. Michael has done something. Could Michael repossess Dean? How about making Dean one of his monsters? Possible the leader of his monster army? That vision issue could have been the on-off switch.
Either way, at 13s, you can see Sam, Castiel, and Jack looking at Dean with matching concerned expressions. Something has most definitely happened, but is this the end or a point within the episode?
