How will Apocalypse Bobby react to Garth in Supernatural?

Garth is back in Supernatural Season 14, Episode 9. Just how will Apocalypse Bobby react to our friendly werewolf?

Supernatural Season 14, Episode 9 sees the return of a very important character. Garth is back and he may just be the in that the Winchesters need to find Michael. After all, he is a werewolf and Michael is building a monster army.

And that brings up an important question. Just how is Apocalypse Bobby going to deal with a werewolf on the team? Will we even get to see how this meeting could play out?

Let’s be honest, Apocalypse Bobby is not our Bobby. After spending 15 years fighting an apocalypse, Apocalypse Bobby has gained a personality that our Bobby never did. He doesn’t trust angels, demons, monsters, or anything in between. So, it wouldn’t be surprising to learn that he has no trust, at all, in werewolves.

It would be interesting to find out what happened to the Garth in the Apocalypse World. Did he make it through the first wave of the apocalypse? Did he become a werewolf that Bobby’s people had to kill? Does anyone really know that he exists?

That’s not likely to come up. There’s too much going on elsewhere but seeing Apocalypse Bobby react to Garth would be interesting. I could see it playing out a little like Dean would have reacted in early Supernatural. Remember when everything was just black and white to him?

Garth was really only allowed to live because of his friendship with the Winchesters and Dean had learned some monsters could be good. Had Garth not been a hunter and a friend first, it’s highly likely that the Winchesters would have gone after him. Dean would have certainly viewed him with suspicion.

Apocalypse Bobby was suspicious and wary of Jack at first. He didn’t really like Castiel in Season 12 but he accepted that Castiel was different. Could Bobby see through the werewolf and accept that Garth is different?

We probably won’t get to see anything play out between Garth and Apocalypse Bobby, at least not for a while. The midseason finale is focused on the Winchesters, Cass, and Jack going up against Michael with Garth listed as the only guest star for now. But, hopefully, in the future we’ll get to see Apocalypse Bobby’s reaction to Garth.
