As much as I dislike a show going on a break, I am excited to see how tonight’s episode plays out. Supernatural Season 14, Episode 9 is the fall finale and the sneak peek is now available to watch. Dean and Castiel head off to the dump.

More importantly, the conversation moves onto why Dean is a chippier version of himself. He’s happy and that’s certainly not normal. Is it because Jack is back? Well, that has something to do with it — watch Castiel’s face during that part of the conversation — but it’s all to do with Michael.

As you would expect, the title “The Spear” gives away quite a lot. This is the item the Winchesters and Castiel believe they need to stop Michael. After all, they’ve seen that it injured the archangel before, so it makes sense that it could stop him once and for all.

It’s going to be dangerous business, though. They’ll need a way in and what better way than a monster friend of their own? Yep, Garth is stepping in to infiltrate Michael’s army.
Why do I get the feeling all this isn’t going to play out how the hunters, angel, and nephilim hope? And that’s not just because it’s the Supernatural fall finale. Part of me feels like things are a little too easy to go smoothly.
