After a long wait, Netflix released Fuller House Season 4 on Friday. Did it live up to its expectations? Should it get renewed?

After over a year of waiting, Netflix released Fuller House Season 4 on Friday and all fans of Full House flocked to Netflix to watch the new season. The premiere a great way to start off a season. But was the new season good? Did it beat its previous seasons?

The new showrunners Steve Baldikoski and Bryan Behar replaced Fuller House creator Jeff Franklin. They had big shoes to fill and boy have they done an incredible job with the season. The quality of the season did not suffer. I love it when shows and movies stick with continuity, and Fuller House does that. The new season was absolutely incredible. It had a lot more laughs, better storylines and a balance between the adults and the kids.

What I noticed that helped improve the quality of this season was that the actors have become comfortable in their roles.

That also makes sense because, usually, after the first season of any show, the actors get into the groove in their roles.

Since Fuller House is on Netflix, there is a big difference in terms of the season quantity.

  • Season 1 had 13 episodes
  • Season 2 had 13 episodes
  • Season 3 had 18 episodes
  • Season 4 had 13 episodes

With traditional TV, you usually get 22-23 episodes per season. So for Netflix, the first two seasons of Fuller House was actually a season. Season 3 and 4 combined have 31 episodes, so in reality, it’s around two seasons of the show. This explains why the actors seem to be improving a lot.

It’s refreshing to have a show like Fuller House around with everything going on in the world. It’s our guilty pleasure, it’s corny and cheesy, but that’s what we love about it. This season made me laugh a lot more, I enjoyed the storylines more.

I was a bit surprised that the producers and writers didn’t show Jackson drinking. I was waiting for a scene with him drinking, but it happened off camera. What I liked was that Jackson confined in Fernando about his drinking, which shows Jackson’s relationship with Fernando may start to blossom, which is one of many great reasons to have Fuller House renewed for a fifth season.

Regardless, Fuller House is improving as each season goes by. It was so amazing to see Stephanie have a baby at the end of the season. Now we should expect her being a mother in season 5, if it gets renewed. And Stephanie and Jimmy are now engaged! She is going to become a Gibbler, who would have ever thought that? Lol!

It’s going to be exciting to see Stephanie as a mother. Should Netflix renew Fuller House for a fifth season, there will be so many storylines they can explore. Will Stephanie get an apartment with Jimmy? Or will she stay with her D.J., Kimmy and the kids at D.J.’s house?

It was also nice seeing Danny, Joey, Uncle Jesse and Rebecca back. We got the “Wake Up, San Francisco” talk show for two episodes. That was nice for us Full House fans.

We should hear if Netflix renews Fuller House for Season 5 soon. Hopefully they do and not cancel it, or they’ll have many angry fans. Also, don’t mind me adding here that I absolutely loved the episode with D.J., Kimmy and Stephanie being Charlie’s Angels.
