This year will see plenty of new TV shows. There are those we’ll miss and others we’ll say goodbye to. What we can’t overlook is the TV shows that are meeting some major milestones.

To start off, I’m looking at the shows that are reaching their fifth birthdays at some point this year. For some, they’ll make you feel old. Hey, you may have been a teen when they premiered in 2014. For those, they’re a reminder that the years are flowing by and might be the kick you need to push forward in your own goals.
Some of the shows on this list have already ended. Others are coming to an end this year. And there are those that are still impressing. In fact, some of these shows are networks’ highest-rated shows.
They have all meant something to us over the years. Some have helped us through breakups or helped us connect with others. We’ve found new friends and gained new appreciation for storytelling and writing. Characters have grown and have been lost.
