Jaycie Dotin in Supernatural as a character we’ve seen before

Jaycie Dotin has booked a guest star spot on Supernatural. She’s a character from the past but we’ve never seen her before. Who could she be?

Supernatural has landed another familiar guest star. Jaycie Dotin is coming to the series for Episode 12 and she’ll be someone we’ve met before. The twist is, the actress has never been on the show!

While many shows would leave you scratching your head at this statement, Dotin’s statement that she’s someone from the past isn’t all that surprising. We’ve seen plenty of demons and angels possess different forms. Ruby has been played by three different actresses, Lilith by four (on screen), and Meg by three (including our own Jared Padalecki).

So, demon or angel. That’s what I’m going with when it comes to who Dotin will be.

During an interview with Nerd Alert News, Dotin explains that she’ll be in “Prophet and Loss,” which is the 12th episode of the current season. She’s someone from a particular character’s past, last seen a couple of seasons ago.

My guess would be Hannah. The angel played a huge role in Castiel figuring out his next steps a couple of years ago, while he also helped her. The last we saw, Hannah was killed by Efram, but dead doesn’t stay dead on the series. It’s possible that God could bring her back. Hey, even Amara could bring her back.

Considering “Prophet and Loss” involves Donatello, who is currently brain dead. However, it seems he has some sort of power while in his current condition and may be able to bring a form of Hannah back.

Another possibility is that Amara has taken on another form. There has been speculation that Amara would return to help but the Earth back in some sort of order. She gained a likeness for it after Dean helped her reunite with Chuck and she did help Dean.

Those are the two that come to mind for me. We’ll find out who she is next week.
