On the latest episode of The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon wants to experiment on Howard’s babies and Penny and Bernadette attend a conference. Here are the five best moments from the episode!

The last episode of The Big Bang Theory was extremely entertaining with all the characters fighting for a seat at Will Wheaton’s Dungeons and Dragons game. The shenanigans ensue after Leonard gets the invite and spills the beans on who attends the game which includes such big names like Kevin Smith, William Shatner, Joe Manganiello, and Hakeem Abdul Jabbar.

From here, the ladies get word on Manganiello’s presence in the game and they want to be invited also because the actor was on Magic Mike. Funny enough, by the end of the episode, they end up getting their way.

The latest episode hints at some interesting possibilities for the future of Amy and Sheldon — specifically, in the area of children. This is revealed when Sheldon decides he wants to experiment on Howard’s babies after finding a book on the subject. Also, Penny and Bernadette feud over a potential job offer at a conference in San Diego.

1. Baby trickery

At the start of the episode, Bernadette is packing for a conference in San Diego that she plans to attend with Penny. As she is leaving she does the overprotective mommy routine making sure Howard can handle the children. After some loving exchanges, Bernadette decides to play a joke on Howard by saying, “Quick question, where are the kids right now?” Howard responds, “they’re upstairs.”

Bernadette jokingly but in a serious manner snaps back, “They’re at daycare.” Howard confused, “They’re at daycare?” Bernadette responds loudly, “No, they’re upstairs!” Howard exclaims, “Why are you messing with me?!”

A few moments later we cut to Stewart’s comic book store and Howard walks in and says hello to the guys. Stewart curiously asks, “Where are the kids?” Howard concerned says, “I thought they were with you?” Stewart freaks out responding, “What? No!” Howard says, “I’m kidding, they’re at daycare” while chuckling.

Stewart upset, “What about me makes you think my heart can handle that joke?” Then Howard tries to see if the gang wants to come over and help babysit while Bernadette’s away but none of them seem interested.

2. Experimenting with babies

Sometime after, Howard is at his house with Raj and Leonard playing games and Howard’s infants have just gone down for a nap. Sheldon and Amy show up to the house and all of a sudden, Sheldon seems strangely interested in the kids. He then reveals he found a book called “Experimenting with Babies: 50 Amazing Science Projects You Can Perform On Your Kid.” And of course, Howard and the rest of the gang quickly shoot him down on experimenting with an infant because, well, it’s Sheldon.

A little while later Amy is reading the book and she starts telling Howard that the experiments sound harmless despite the title. She explains that one of them just involves putting a baby in front of a mirror and watching the child react. Raj then reads another one called “Grabby Hands” which involves just dangling objects above a babies head.

In the experiment, the younger baby reaches with both hands and the older will reach with the preferred hand. The idea sparks their curiosity and they agree to do the experiment which gets Sheldon extremely giddy.

3. Penny gets a napkin proposition

While Sheldon and the gang are doing experiments on the children, Bernadette and Penny are in San Diego trying to market their anti-inflammatory drug. As they both try to have a smooth convention experience, Penny and Bernadette find themselves being harassed by a competitor named Danny.

As he tries to intimidate them, Bernadette claps back at him chasing him away. Penny says to Bernadette while patting her on the head, “You scared the bad man away… who’s a good girl?”

The only problem is Danny does not stay away for long and as soon as Penny is alone, he returns to attempt to steal her from Bernadette to work for him. Once he hands her a card, Bernadette sees the exchange and gets upset. Shortly after, they both return to the hotel room and argue about Penny considering Danny’s proposal.

However, none of it goes well as Bernadette labels Penny as ungrateful because she helped get her the job. Penny storms out saying she did thank her with a box of pears. Bernadette yelling at her as she leaves, “What am I supposed to do with 20 pears? Have a pear party?!”

We then see Penny at a hotel bar meeting with Danny and he begins discussing what he wants to offer her. She asks if he is going to write the amount on a napkin, like in the movies. He says no, but she insists he do so anyway.

Before the offer can be read, Bernadette storms in and takes the napkin. She tells Danny that she isn’t letting her best salesperson go without a fight. Danny says to Penny regarding the offer, “Just think about it.” Penny grateful says. “I appreciate it but I’m happy where I am.” As she walks off with Bernadette, she whispers, “Can I just see what he wrote on the napkin?”
