Survivor: Edge of Extinction proves once again it’s a social show more than anything else, and the weak can band together to be strong.
See you later, Chris! You posed too big a threat and you got voted off Survivor. The weaker members of Manu have linked with the returning players and gotten rid of a threat. Was it the right move?
And that’s where this season of Survivor gets interesting. At what point will the whole Edge of Extinction angle come to fruition. It took Keith getting voted off for Reem to get off her lazy butt and do some actual exploring. What will happen with three people away from the camp?
What to expect the next episode
The next episode is titled “I Need a Dance Partner,” and it’s likely a reference to either someone trying to gain numbers, or someone trying to pull off a blindside. All they need is a dance partner to dance.
Additionally, it could be directly tied to the merger about to happen. There is only so long that one tribe can get murdered before the execs and Probst decided to mix things up. It’s not like Rick or Wendy is going to help with an immunity challenge, especially now that Wendy is gimpy. Speaking of Wendy, how in the world has she not been voted off yet? Irritating, a liability in challenges, and injured is not usually a recipe for success on Survivor.
The most unforgiveable sin, however, is messing with the limited food supply. She already nipped the flint, and she’s about to free the chickens. You don’t mess with a hungry person’s chickens.
