Supernatural Season 14 finale: Could Garth be the returning fan-favorite?
The Supernatural Season 14 finale will be here before we know it. A fan-favorite is returning but who could it be? Is Garth a possibility?
There’s a returning face in the Supernatural Season 14 finale. This time, Andrew Dabb has kept it teasery by sharing it’s a fan-favorite but not who. Of course, there have been many fan-favorites over the years and now many of us are speculating who that could be.
One of my considerations as of late has been Garth. Is it possible our werewolf hunter could be the one returning in the final episode of the season?

The last time we saw Garth was in the fall finale and things weren’t great. In fact, the very last time we saw him, he’d been knocked out and was being put in Baby’s trunk. So, “things weren’t great” is a major understatement — and I have to wonder whether Garth is still being held “hostage” in the trunk!
After becoming a supermonster, Garth could be controlled by Apocalypse Michael. All supermonsters can be controlled and that put the Winchesters under threat. Despite Garth not wanting to hurt his friends, he commented that he had no choice.
Well, Michael is gone now. Sort of. Jack destroyed the archangel but he has Michael’s grace. It’s possible that Jack now has control of the supermonsters. This could be a good thing, but considering Jack is seriously low on soul, it could also be a dangerous thing.
What it does mean is that bringing Garth back — who is definitely a fan-favorite, by the way — would make sense. There’s a storyline there to make it a viable and realistic option. Sure, there are other characters we’d love to see return but Garth has the bigger story possibilities right now. And he has the most potential for setting up the major cliffhanger going into the summer break.
