The title of Supernatural Season 14, Episode 20 is Moriah. It’s time to delve into this title to figure out what we could expect in the season finale.

“Moriah” is the title for Supernatural Season 14, Episode 20. It sounds like a vague title for the season finale at first, but it’s an important one that could give plenty of clues as to what to expect. It’s time to delve into the title and what it could mean.

We’re back to Biblical references for this episode, which isn’t surprising considering this season has been all about a Nephilim, Castiel has been looking for God, and there are mentions of Lucifer. However, more importantly, this episode title links to Genesis, the first book in the Bible. It certainly suggests that God is the fan-favorite returning.

Moriah is the name of an important mountain range in Old City Jerusalem in the Book of Genesis. It’s the mountain range God commanded Abraham to take his only son Isaac to be offered as a sacrifice. After years of trying for a baby and finally getting his son, Abraham showed his devoting to God and did take his son to the mountain range to be a sacrificial offering.

It turned out that it was all a test of faith. God stopped Abraham from making the sacrifice in the end because seeing the devotion was enough. It all ended happily for father and son, but it certainly suggests something major for the Winchesters and Castiel.

Could they be told by God to take their only son, Jack, to the mountain range? Will they need to make this sacrifice to show their devotion?

Considering the synopsis for Supernatural Season 14, Episode 20, possibly not. It sounds like Jack is on his own journey. Instead, we may finally get God returning to help the Winchesters with the mess they’re currently in.

While also on the mountain, Abraham was promised provisions and that his descendants would take control of the cities their enemies controlled. This is where the title “Moriah” may come into play. We know that the Winchesters are descendants of Cain and Abel. It’s also likely that they’re descendants of Abraham. With enemies everywhere, it’s possible that God will live up to this promise, helping the Winchesters take down all their enemies.
