Lucifer Season 4 premiere date announced in underwear commercial
By Callum Gunn
Netflix has announced the Lucifer Season 4 premiere date in an unusual way. By having Tom Ellis perform in an underwear commercial. Or at least that’s what it looks like.
Mark the date, everyone! Netflix has officially announced Lucifer Season 4 premiere date. The streaming giants announced today, April 10, that the fourth season of the series will be kicking off in May.
They did it in a very unusual way as well. Lucifer Morningstar himself, a.k.a Tom Ellis, performed in an underwear commercial. If not underwear, a commercial for whiskey.

Anyway, into the specifics of Netflix original and as you could tell from the teaser, the Lucifer Season 4 premiere date has been set for May 8. A date which is exactly 666 hours from the moment the above teaser trailer was released, according to TV Line.
There will be exactly 10 episodes released this season. So it is a much shorter season compared to when the series was running on FOX, but it is 10 more episodes than what we were going to get after FOX shamefully canceled the series.
On the plus side though, all 10 episodes will be launched at the same time. Meaning we don’t have to go from one week to the next wondering what is happening. Also, with it being a Netflix Original now, those who watched the series outside the US, a) no longer have to wait and b) will have a much easier time watching the series.
There is the benefit of the story being much more focused and condensed with it only being 10 episodes long as well. Ultimately, despite the series being shorter, I wouldn’t be surprised if this turned out to be one of the best yet.
